Hello! Just a quick note to let you know that there’s no further updates to when the opening to the Rink will be. I can confirm, however, that we will still be on Friday nights from 6 to 7 for our learn to skate program. We do hope we’re able to start the first Friday in October. However, I cannot guarantee that yet we are still waiting to hear on the gas lines and the update when those will be fixed.

Enjoy this time now because when the season starts, it’ll be very busy with lots of fun and enjoyment!!!

Hello!! Just wanted to give everyone an update on our fall session! We as of yet do not have a start date due to construction and gas line work at the Rink. We are hopeful that we can still start the first Friday in October however, we are awaiting word from the construction in the area.

Please stay tuned for updates as we approach the start of the season. I have been also sending bulk emails out to our parents to keep them updated as to the progress.

The Salmon River FSC presented “Glitter and Gold on Ice” as their end of the year show! A special shout out to all the parents, family, and skaters who helped to make our first year a success. Our Salmon River Skating School had record numbers and we are all excited to see where next season takes us!! I slipped in a couple rehearsal and practice pictures as well from the last couple weeks! Thank you to Erik Robbins our show announcer, Terry Robbins our locker room and show monitor, Jenn Thomas and Kristen Colton for running concessions, and Monique Ruddy for delivering the canned goods to the food bank! We all appreciate our wonderful instructors who have worked hard to get the skaters ready! Thank you Taylor Walpole, Avalon Leon, Aden Renfer, Cindy Robbins, and Caroline Stainton!!! Here’s to next year!

Congratulations to Claire Ryder of the Salmon River FSC!!! Claire competed this past weekend at the Empire State Games held in Lake Placid. Claire received the bronze medal in her Aspire 1 Freeskate. This wonderful finish qualified her to compete in the state games held in Pennsylvania this summer! Claire’s figure skating coach is Taylor Walpole, who is also one of our instructors in our learn to skate program. Congratulations to both of you!!
