Wow! What a great day!!

Thank you to Susan Vaughn and Wink Beadel for some great pictures. We will be posting them once we get a chance to go through them.

If you have any that you want to share please do so!! You can tag us, or send them to us.

We know there are things to learn. And we are happy to listen.

We know better for the shirts situation this year was less than desirable, and will get them to you. But now we know better for next year!

We know about next years race we will let you know, and we will be happy to have people join us for the race committee. šŸ™‚

Good morning!!

Happy race day!!!

A couple reminders:

Parking is at the high school, or there is parking on Main or Liberty. There is also the municipal parking lot on Church Street and Main.

Packet pick up starts at 7:30 this morning.

The course is marked; however it did rain last night. We will double check the markings, but there will be Course Marshals on the road directing you too.

If you are walking the event this morning please make sure you are closer to the side of the road so runners can pass you.

There is one water station on the course at Spring and Lincoln.

We are unbelievably excited for the race today, and hope you are too!

Reminder that this is to support our community in need, help build your own fitness, meet new people and build your community!

You are gonna be great and do great, and itā€™s gonna be a beautiful day.

We have another sponsor that we would like to thank: Ebb & Flow Movement Studio.

They are a new business in our community that focuses on bringing movement and fellow movement practitioners to our community. They will have yoga, and Pilates to start and will be launching soon!

šŸŽ CIDER RUN 5K T-SHIRT UPDATE šŸŽ

A quick heads-up for our runners!

Our Cider Run T-shirts will not be ready in time for Sundayā€™s race. We are hopeful they will be ready next week, weā€™ll post pickup information as soon as theyā€™re ready.

We didnā€™t want anyone wondering where their shirt was when they checked in Sunday morning!

Thank you for your patience ā€” and more importantly, thank you for helping us bring the Cider Run 5K back after a two-year break!

We canā€™t wait to see everyone at the starting line Sunday morning! šŸƒā€ā™€ļøšŸƒā€ā™‚ļøšŸŽ

We are so excited to have yā€™all as our official timers this year, and for all the help you guys will be giving us this weekend!

We cannot wait to partner with you for this community tradition that we are bringing back to life!

Weā€™ve reached 75 participants!!

Holy mackerel!!! We are super excited for tomorrow.

A couple of details weā€™ve been asked about:

The event is at Mexico High School, the start is at the track. We have street parking on Main Street, and Liberty Street, as well as some limited parking at the school as well.

Packet pick up is at the high school next to the track.

While we love our four legged friends, please do not bring your beloved pup on the run unless they are working service animal.

We have an amazing vendor that will be with us at the Cider Run too! Cabin Cafeā€™ offers coffee and coffee related drinks, refreshers, and bakery items too!!! Can you say cinnamon roll???

You ever have a moment where you are moved touched and inspired?

Our heart felt gratitude and a huge thank you to Believers Chapel North.

They gave us a wonderful donation to support this incredible community, and they are moving their service back to accommodate their parishioner runners.

Now that is community.

No matter how you celebrate your Sundays, come out and cheer on your community, or sign up for the raceā€¦there is still time!

We are a little more than two days away from the race and we have 65 participants thus far!!

Is it possible to reach 75? Why not 85?

Who do you know that likes to get outside in a beautiful day, make some friends, and get some movement in? And they get to support a small community in the process? And they get a fresh cider donut and apple cider from one of our local orchards?? And they get a medal?

Gigantic thank you to Apple Dale Orchards for your delicious Cider and Donuts for this years race!!!

If you have never checked out Appledale Orchards you are missing out! Of course they have amazing apples and cider, but their baked goods are mouth watering too! And they have you pick apples, and berries, and I saw Sunflowers too!

A race, and opportunity to help out community members in our small town, and the Fall Festival, and a chance to check out the orchard. Sounds like an amazing day to me!
