⚽️ If your kid doesn’t try to do all or some of these things on his own often you have to manage your expectations ⚽️ Also, sometimes it takes them some time to develop that love for the game, and realize they need to do extra on their own. Be patient.

⚽️ Once you have this information you have a good framework to work from to try to help you kid. You only need 1 or 2 specific actions to work on for each aspect of his game. There’s not much communication you should have with your coach beyond that. Let your kid go through it, and see if he improves.
⚽️ If you use this advice to get a gotcha moment, I wish you the best of luck in your ⚽️ parenting career. If you use this to learn and come from the mindset to help your kid as much as possible then I applaud you 🫡⚽️

⚽️ Don’t disqualify yourself, just be direct & ask simple questions. It doesn’t help you to say that you know nothing about ⚽️. Focus on your kid.
