The girls spent the weekend in Brigham City, Utah playing in the USA Softball Brigham City Invitational. They went 6-0 and after two close battles with Condors Softball 10U, took 1st place. What an incredible weekend of softball for these girls!

It’s been fun watching these girls develop this year!

They have placed 3rd, 1st, and 3rd in our last three tournaments and have been playing some great softball!

We are so excited to welcome everyone to the Boise Blast Summer Shootout tomorrow! Also want to extend a warm welcome to D1 Prospects to the Treasure Valley!

Make sure you follow your team in Tourney Machine so you can receive game updates & notifications.

Discovery will have a food truck rally. Food trucks attending are

- Foy’s Franks
- Crazy Chicken
- Sippin Shack
- Vintage Kernel
- Perfect Sips
- Sugar Puffs

Concessions will also be open by the playground at Discovery. Willow will have concessions open by fields 1-3. Both sites will have a few other non food vendors as well as tournament swag for sale.

We will also be collecting items for local nonprofit The Closet at both sites to honor late Boise Blast player Kate Marshall. Please see flyer below for what they need.

The girls took first place in the AFA Salute to Service tournament this weekend!

The girls battled while going undefeated, scoring 62 runs while only allowing 11.

Thank you Idaho Show for such a great championship game and AFA for hosting a great tournament!

What a fun weekend the girls had! While we didn’t make it to the championship game, we placed 4th out of 14 10U teams, going 5-2 overall with wins and losses against some good teams.

Our team collected 42 hits in 7 games (27 singles, 8 doubles, 5 triples and 2 HRs). We played some familiar and new teams and the girls got to bond with each other and with girls from other teams between games, playing volleyball, and wiffleball between games. You love to see it!

Girls took second place in this weekend’s Swing into Spring tournament. So many things to be proud of.
