Better late than never! On Saturday we got the chance to run a prolate at Motorplex At The Mill!

New car ✅

It all came about pretty last minute. Got a call asking if I wanted to run a prolate and I said sure why not. The next day we went out and blew the dust off of the car and made sure the tires had air and ran about 80 laps, 80 rough laps completely out of my comfort zone but we slowly started to figure out the line and the car and we’re slowly putting something together.
Saturday we rolled out in practice and couldn’t get under a 15 second lap. With the fast guys running down in the 14 0’s and 2’s we knew we were gonna have to pull it together. Threw a bunch of stagger at it and some other minor changes and shipped it. Ran a 14.75 which put us 11th quick out of 18. Started the main in 11th and after dodging a couple cautions and trying to stay smooth we found ourselves in 6th place. Unfortunately I made a rookie mistakes and over drove a corner, pushed up in the marbles and spun out. Luckily I didn’t collect any other cars. Went to the back and started trying to make my way forward and landed back in 11th when the checkered flag fell.

We had a fast car yesterday and it showed in qualifying taking the top spot. Drove from the back up to third in the first main. The second main got tangled in a wreck and broke the centerlink and a tie rod. The crew got us off the track and welded the centerlink back up and a fresh tie rod to get us back out to get a couple more valuable spots. Ultimately finishing 10th in the second main. We’ll get everything straightened out and be ready for the next one on Sept. 12! Huge thanks to the crew for thrashing to get me back out. None of this is possible without the people that show up to turn wrenches on this thing 🤘🏻

Well Eve of destruction in the books. Slow in first practice made some quick adjustments and found speed for second practice. Went P2 in qualifying. Which started up in the back of the heat and the main. Was able to drive it to 3rd in the heat and 5th in the main 🤘🏻we’ll get the car unloaded and back in the shop and get it ready for the 22nd! Hope to see you all there!

Shout out to Chemical X Creations for getting some footage of the second main! Unfortunately the car wasn’t up to par and we were going backwards but still badass video they are getting over there! Hopefully we’ll get some more when the cars firing on all cylinders! Go give them a like and follow! 🤘🏻

Not our best night of racing on Saturday. We still managed to put our best foot forward and qualified in the number 2 spot. As the night went on and the outside temp went up so did the motor temp. We brought it home in second place in the first main but we feel we hurt the motor doing it. We tried some things to keep the motor cool for the second main and wanted to try and salvage the night but after a good start we found ourselves in second and had to use her up to try and stay as far forward as we could. Slowly the motor temp kept climbing and we started falling backwards. Ultimately finishing 5th in the second main. We’ll see how bad the motor is hurt and get something figured out before the next race on aug 8th.

We’re locked and loaded for another night at Meridian Speedway tomorrow. Slap some sun screen on and start hydrating now so your head doesn’t hurt after a bucket of beer! If you’re here for a good time and not a long time we’ll see you there!

Dairy days 2026 is in the books! Such a fun race, so different from the normal schedule. Can’t park till late then we had some rain which cancelled first practice. With a badass pit crew in the trailer we were ready for whatever! 2nd practice was our qualifying so we didn’t know what kind of a car we were going to have, but went shipped it and it was a good one took the #1 spot on the board. Rolled out for main #1 in 8th, track had some water down in the bottom groove which made passing difficult but we caught a lucky break right out of the gate and made up some spots and was able to pick a couple off one at a time bringing it home in 2nd place. Finishing 2nd started us in 9th for the main #2. Had a solid race and brought it home in 3rd. Shout out to meridian speedway and their staff for putting on such a weekend!
