The Ross Motorsports team ran a double this weekend. We started at Peru Friday night. The 5R ran decent for the most part and avoided some wrecks. Only the 2nd time running at peru. Hot laps were pretty consistent.
Heat race started P8 and ended up P7 and on the 2nd lap spun going into turn one.(Driver error)
Started the A feature P11. Running consistent again but didn't gain any positions and finished P11.
The 27A (Gabby) stated the very first race ever. After charging issue in the staging lane cause her to miss hot laps and heat race. She got out to run the A-Wing at the tail. And did great for her first time out.
On to Saturday night at Us24 Speedway. The 5R ran good laps in the got laps. Went out for the heat race and was running the track in before the green and broke the panhard bolt finishing the night off. The chain wrapped around the transmission spocket and bent the counters haft. Ending the night.
The 27A(Trenton) ran decent in hot laps.(Still learning) in the heat race was doing well. Started P12 and after spinning twice and changing lines move up to P11 with the fastest he ran all night. Great job.

Weekend race recap feom Us24 Speedway. For the 5R.

Hot laps we started out pretty decent. With a time of 12.953.

Heat started p3 and finished P7.

A-Feature started P14 and finished P12.

The car turned consistent laps and didn't do to bad.

Cars are loaded up and ready to hit the track at Peru tomorrow night and Us24 Speedway on Saturday night. We are looking forward to getting out and learning again this year. For the driver of the 5r machine, last year was a big learning experience and was able to see the improvement at practice 2 weeks ago at Us24 Speedway. For the drivers (yes thats right two) of the 27A this year will be their 1st year racing. One in Senior class and the other in A non wing. Let's get this season started!🏁

We have been using a single car open trailer to haul the racecar back and forth to the track. Today we purchased an enclosed trailer big enough for 2 cars.

Car #2 got fired up tonight! Little over a month away until green flag time!

We are gearing up for the 2026 season. Helping a new team with getting things ready. This is the first start up of the freshly rebuilt motor. We wish them well on their first year of racing.
