Bedwell Bayfront Park Master Plan

Bedwell Bayfront Park Master Plan Bedwell Bayfront Park is a 160 acre regional park and the City's only park on the Bay. Please join us!

Built on top of a landfill, it is surrounded on three sides by the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The park had been envisioned by its founder, former City Manager Michael Bedwell, as a “park for passive recreation including nature walks…picnicking, day hiking and meadow sports, as well as just plain enjoyment of the silence, the fresh breeze and the view.”

ng process is underway to address existing maintenance and capital improvement needs and to establish a park vision guiding improvements for the next 25 years. The City will host several meetings to gather the public's thoughts on the park.
