Mena Youth Cheer is hosting sign up and first practice day for cheer, bring your athletic wear/shoes and a water bottle. Parents stick around for info in the first ten minutes.

Quick little update for Little Cats Cheer Camp — we’ve had a slight time change and we are so sorry for any inconvenience. The previous post you might’ve seen on the Mena Public Schools Facebook or the Mena Varsity Cheer Instagram (the Instagram is now fixed) were incorrect.The times that your child was sent home with are correct. Can’t wait to see all your cute faces and have the best time together!!😆😆

Two upcoming events for youth cheerleaders and a little info breakdown:

Little Cats Camp is July 6-10, sponsored by Mena High School Cheerleaders, payment is made to Mena High Cheer. A chance for your cheerleader to learn from our high school cheerleaders and meet the girls we will be watching all year at games. They will learn cheers, dances and skills that we will use for sideline cheer this season. Flyers were sent home and are posted on this page as well as Mena Public Schools pages.

NCA camp is July 30-31, this is through Mena Youth Rec Team and for any youth cheerleaders to learn stunts and skills from NCA cheerleaders. Payment is made through our payment link or by contacting Coach Sterner or Coach Trixie.

Mena Youth Sideline Cheer 3rd -6th, sign up forms have gone out to schools and payments can also be made through the QR code link provided. Girls will perform at both home and away games for their grade. Parents interested in coaching or team mom positions should let us know asap for more info.

MYFA Flag cheer (aka peewee cheer) K-2nd. At this time information is limited as we wait for confirmation of a schedule. Stay tuned!

Mena Youth Rec Cheer: We are entering our third year of competition cheer, tryout clinics have begun, tryout dates will be announced soon. Includes three competitions in November/ December.

Our last team tryout clinic is this Saturday. We would love to see a few more 8U girls (ages 8 and under), if you would like to see what Rec Cheer is all about come to our last clinic and we can tell you all about it!

Ready to learn some skills and see if you’re ready for competitive cheer?

This a great opportunity to get started without a full commitment.

Coaches will be gauging skills and looking for motivated, focused and spirited cheerleaders.
