A special night to close out another chapter of Tiger Rugby.

Last night’s banquet gave us the chance to come together and celebrate everything this season represented. From preseason to the final whistle, this group showed commitment, toughness, and pride every step of the way.

We honored our seniors for the impact and legacy they leave behind, while celebrating those recognized with awards. At the same time, every player played a role in this season’s success, seasons are built by the whole team.

This year was filled with growth, challenges, unforgettable moments, and a brotherhood that will last far beyond the field.

A special thank you to Coach Phil Beck for his years of service, dedication, and leadership with the Tigers as he retires. Your impact on this program and everyone in it will be felt for years to come.

Congratulations to the entire team for another strong season representing the Tigers the right way.

Go Tigers! Nationals Bound Once Again!

The University of Memphis Rugby Team has done it — we just dominated the 2026 Bluff City 7s and punched our ticket to the National Collegiate Rugby 7s National Championships for the fifth straight year!

This April 24-26, the Tigers are heading back to Maryland ready to show the nation what real grit and Tiger Heart look like on the biggest stage in collegiate 7s rugby.

We’ve got a talented, battle-tested squad with serious firepower and the heart to compete with the best. This is a huge opportunity for our program and for Memphis to shine on the national level.
But we can’t get there without your support.

The total cost to fly the team to Maryland and cover lodging for the tournament weekend is $12,000. Every dollar helps get our Tigers on the field representing the University of Memphis with pride.
