Congratulations to Coach Ronnie Mayers on your induction! The founding father of swimming here in Cleveland, MS. Thank you for all you have done for the sport and the community.

With the 2026 MSHOF Induction Weekend presented by Huntington Bank being THIS week, it's time to spotlight our inductees! ⭐

A legendary swimming and diving coach and later athletic director at Delta State University, Ronnie Mayers led his teams to 11 conference titles, 15 NCAA championship appearances, and produced 56 All-Americans. The Delta State aquatics facility proudly bears its name. 🏊‍♂️

Kind of sounds like a swim team, right?

On deck, in the water, at afternoon practices—swimmers don’t just train together, they grow together. Laps turn into laughter, teammates turn into support systems, and over time, those lane neighbors become lifelong friends.

That’s the power of a team: pushing each other, cheering each other on, and always swimming a little stronger together. 💙🏊‍♀️
