What a weekend! The girls went 4-1 at our first 14U USSSA tournament! From pitching and catching to batting and defense, it was a true team effort and I couldn’t be happier with what we saw from each one of them!
But more important than the wins and losses was how they handled themselves. Through the rain, game delay, late night, early morning, being up, coming from behind, tough calls, wins, and a loss, they stayed focused, and their attitudes and effort stayed where they needed to be.
Now we take the lessons from this weekend and get ready for our next tournament in a couple of weeks.
