Here we are again, the Iowa high school shooting was an act of domestic terrorism. And it is because we have a huge issue with mental health, the inability to access mental healthcare, and unprecedented ease by which we can buy fi****ms.

But instead of focusing on those real problems, conservatives would attack a marginalized community and baselessly blame these incidents on trans and non-binary people.

This is classic deflection. Let’s not focus on the real hard problems, let’s focus on a group of people who are easy to blame, and by blaming them politicians don’t have to solve real problems.

Republican Gov Mike DeWitt has vetoed an anti-trans bill. In his decision he stated:⁣

“Ultimately, these tough, tough decisions should not be made by the government. They should not be made by the state of Ohio,” as reported by ABC News.⁣

This is a great win for all q***r and trans people who struggle to be accepted in public spaces. ⁣

Is your run club q***r or LGBTQIA+ inclusive?

Inclusive spaces can mean the difference between find friends and community, or being Closeted and alone.

Pride On Foot is always reaching out to clubs asking this question. Some respond hopeful because they’re looking for guidance. But sadly many respond that there’s no need, or they choose to ignore us.
