Finished out yesterday with Q3. Definitely didn't go how we wanted. Burnout was bad then the car shut off at about 1000'. After going through the car we found the culprit....broken crank bolt. Lots of thrashing last night and this morning to get the rest of it out and find a new one. Beyond thankful for our race family for pitching in to help! Can't even begin to list everyone. Marc's phone was blowing up this morning with so many people trying to make sure we found what we needed! We'll need lots of luck today to get it fixed and ready for E1. We're first out with top sportsman at 10:30.

It's kinda cool to see something come full circle. Exactly 20 years ago to the day Chad made his jr dragster license runs at Maryland International Raceway. Today hes running the NHRA Potomac Nats here!
Crew Chief chose to make a half track hit first qualifier since we haven't been out in a year. Driver smacked the tree with a 19 but the car blew the tires off. Regrouping for Q2 in a couple hours.

David Napp, a member of the family that ran Old Bridge Township Raceway Park for decades and helped launch the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League, passed away on Dec. 22. He was 49.
