The Lady Hornets had a very strong finish to their 10U journey, going 5-1 on the weekend and completing the tournament as USA Softball State Champions! They outscored their opponents 52-17 and overall battled very hard in really excruciating heat, showing up today with the Lady Hornet fierceness we know and love! We'll take a few weekends off before playing in our first 12U tournament mid July! 🧡🐝🥎

🚨 Schedule Update Due to Weather 🚨

The Lady Hornets are still gearing up for our final 10U tournament, but Mother Nature had other plans! Due to inclement weather and rain delays, Saturday's pool play schedule has been adjusted.

🐝🥎 Updated Game Times:
⏰ 1:10 PM vs VA Glory Ladia
⏰ 4:20 PM vs VA Beach Heat
⏰ 5:55 PM vs Southside Lady Crew - Winfree

We'll be battling through the elements at the USA Softball VA State Championship in Glen Allen as we look to finish our incredible 10U season strong! Sunday bracket play is still TBD.

Raegan may be one of our younger team members, but don’t let that fool you. She’s a force to be dealt with on the mound — confident, calm under pressure, and always humble in how she carries herself. Her competitive spirit sets the tone every time she steps inside the circle.

🎶 it ain't how you start its how you finish 🎶

The Lady Hornet GRIT was on full display today as these girls competed against two very strong teams in two different nail biters, going 2-0 on the day (4-1 on the tournament) and ending this tournament as gold bracket champions! 🏆🏆🏆 Saturday they had a rough day. Despite a 2-1 record, it just wasn't their best. They knew it, we knew it, the coaches knew it and we all agreed they'd come with a fight today, and boy did they! Collective team effort! Super strong finish to our Spring tournament season!

Special shout out to Ev for the Hornet chain for her allllmost over the fence hit (and 🔥 bat all day), Hadley with the golden glove award for her jumping line drive catch almost turned double play, and the spirit stick award to Swifty for her incredible team spirit and awesome teammate encouragement!
