It was a ruff weekend but we had an amazing time with friends, family and competitors!!!

El Hefe had great results on the dyno the night before our departure for Orlando Speed World. But little did we know we were carrying GREMILINS on board from Maryland to Florida!!! LOL!!!!!

We get to the track Friday afternoon, off load the car and get in the lanes for Q1. Right off the bat we split a block in half. Even with a split block in 3rd gear the car runs a 8.59 which was good enough to have us qualified at #1 for Q1 and Q2!!! Our Tuner Abraham Alba looks at the data and nothing can be found to explain the breakage. So we start switching out bullets. We get the car done and started at 2am.

Saturday morning we go out for Q3 and right at around 2nd gear the car shuts off. After a quick diagnosis we find the main relay popped out. The track was tight, the car shook and popped the relay out. So we fix the relay and for added measure we decide to drop the oil pan and check bearings. All look good except #2. But being cautious, we pop in all new main and rod bearings.

Q4 comes up and the car launches amazing but right about the top of second it stumbles a bit and the GREMLINS finally show their face.

After some data review and close inspection, we found that the regulator had a defective diaphragm. We swap out a regulator thanks to Denis @ Joki Racing and were ready for E1.

Sunday morning we get El Hefe Racing ready for action and head to the line for E1. Our driver Jason Marsh does his thing, cuts a light (.055 to competitors .152) and boom!!! First Round win!!! 8.14 to their 8.15!!!!

We get a bye run into the semis and our Tuner Abe, Mosely & Jason agree to a quick 1st to 2nd gear hit to check the slow lane out but the GREMLINS showed their face. We kick a rod out in 2nd gear because of the previous lean out by default of the regulator. Yet still we had tons of fun!!! We proved that we are in the mix and NO MATTER WHO thinks different, their will be plenty of EL Hefe for LONG TIME!!!!

Team El Hefe had a great weekend!!! The car looked great as we debuted our new Traum Wrap and it was running like it was on a mission!!!

El Hefe went a 8.19 and bettered it with a 8.13 @ 186mph to qualify 6th in a huge 32 car field. The team noticed the engine was a little hurt, did a leak down and the results were 90% on cylinders 1 & 2. But we cant complain about old faithful. This engine has proved itself more times than it should.

During the first qualifier (8.19 pass) the wing flew off. Big shout out to Fuego Gp for fixing the wing up. But despite your effort Jason Marsh say you fired again!!! LOL!!!

Now we begin prep work for wcf. With 3 weeks to go and a lot of work to get done the team knows the competition will be very tuff so we plan to bring it all!!!
