What a great start to the Spring season, the team is currently 1st in their conference. We have had 6 - 25s shot already, 2xAshton Harjo, 2xRyker Vieux, 2xC**t Dizmang, and we have had personal best for Kenzleigh Hardaway at 45/50, Abby Cunningham at 46/50, Ethan Strickland at 42/50, Elias Strickland 41/50, and Chase McDowell at 33/50. These will probably change before long as the team is improving each time. Great work!

Thank you to the Meade County Community Foundation for their $1,000 grant towards supplies for the upcoming trap season. We are grateful for their support in giving youth an opportunity to participate in this activity.

We had a great last week of the season, several shot their best scores of the season. We have a lot to celebrate including ending 1st as a team in the conference!! Winning the conference came down to the difference of just a few clays. As a team I am proud that they never gave up and always tried their best.

Individually we had many make the top 25 in the conference for the season.

Male division we had

7th Tyson Knott

We had 4 make the Top 100 out of 1323 participants this season. This is based on average for entire season.

Tyson Knott at 96th.

A great fall season, lots of growth and learning, the team celebrating with each other and helping each other. Many of them engaged in other activities at the same time. We are excited for the Spring Season already.

Today!!

The Meade High School Trap Team would like to invite you out to the park today, Saturday, October 18th, to enjoy a pulled pork sandwich lunch from 11a-1p (unless gone before 1p) during the Meade County Community Foundation non-profit event and pickleball tournament!!!! Funds raised will help them with all their season needs!!!

The Trap Team has one more week of shooting for the Fall season!!!! We are currently sitting in 2nd place, with several athletes on the leaderboard in our conference.

We are currently in 2nd place for the Fall Season. It's a close call with 2 weeks remaining in the season. We have had several athletes make the leaderboard in our conference. Male division we have C**t Dizmang at 2nd place, Tyson Knott at 3rd place, Ashton Harjo and Ryker Vieux tied for 5th, and Jacob McNemer in 10th place. Female division we have Kenzleigh Hardaway in 3rd place, Abby Cunningham in 8th place, and Reeselynn Hardaway in 12th place. We have a lot of great shooting, and look to keep our momentum going into the last 2 weeks.

The fall season began with our first competition week. We had 2 new personal best in the first week, Kenzleigh Hardaway and Elias Strickland. A lot of great shooting to start the season off, and welcome to our 3 new members, Denton Harlow, Reeselynn Hardaway, and Trey Thornton.

Registration for the Fall 2025 Trap Season is open! Emails have been sent to returning members, so check your spam/junk boxes if you haven't received them. Additionally, you can simply login to your athlete management profile to complete registration at https://claytargetgo.com

The Trap Team volunteered at the OK Kids Day at Meade State Park. Thank you to everyone that came out and got to participate. We had a lot of youth from all over SW Kansas and Oklahoma.
