Mt. Spokane High School Equestrian Team

Mt. Spokane High School Equestrian Team The Mt. Spokane High School Equestrian Team was founded in 2009 as a part of the Washington High School Equestrian Team program.

Since its start, over 90 athletes from Spokane County and North Idaho have competed with MTSET.

Are you in high school and looking for more places to compete with your horse? Are you interested in learning more about WAHSET? This event is for you! Come check out our new athlete information meeting and learn about the WAHSET program, our team, and meet our coaches.

Most students in Mead and Spokane Public School Districts ride for Mt Spokane's team. If you are unsure which team you would ride with, we would be happy to help you find your host school and connect with their leadership or you can submit a request for more information on www.wahset.info

Returning athletes and new athletes who cannot make this meeting, our registration meeting will be August 24th at MSHS. See you in August!

Libby couldn’t be at our ceremony but we wanted to recognize her as our 2026 Horsemanship Champion. Libby always put the wellbeing of her horses first at practice and competition, her grooming and care of her horses at meets was excellent, and she always rode with consistent patience especially when competing.
