Mclouth Middle School Volleyball

We had our last practice (“Anything but knee pads”) with everyone on Wednesday…. The girls had a season that consisted of building the fundamental skills needed for volleyball. They came and worked hard all season & we are proud of them for putting in the hard work. This weekend is our last tournament and the information is below. We hope to see you there. Thanks again, parents- for the support throughout our building season!

Middle School girls NEK Volleyball Tournament @ Wi******er. Admission Adults :$5 Students: $3. No passes will be accepted. First game for our team is approximately 8:30am. 🐾 💜 🙌

Our team is only getting better and better as our season is quickly coming to an end. We will be back at it this Thursday -September 25th- in McLouth at 4:30pm. We will then play at home again on Monday, September 29th and Thursday, October 2nd. We finish our season off on October 4th for the NEKL tournament. This young group has worked really hard all season- and would love for you to join us for these last few weeks!!

We had a great week of volleyball practice! Our young team worked hard and put in awesome effort. Today we had our first theme practice and the picture says it all! - “anything but a water bottle”- Fall Preview will be held in the gold gym at 6pm and we hope to see you there!!

Reminder: There is NO open gym tomorrow, we will resume in July!

* If you haven’t been making it to open gyms, July is a great time to start. The girls that have been showing up have made tons of progress. They have really been working hard, doing a ton of team building.

The Pit Drill never fails at getting these girls to move their feet. It was awesome to see them figure out how to work together and reach the goal. Coach Mance has always loved the Pit Drill and I have always loved the motivation and encouragement she brings to our team. 🙌

Just a reminder for those who have not been able to join- **Open gym is on Mondays and Wednesdays. We start at 8am in the gold gym. Players are dismissed and can be picked up from the gold gym parking lot, at 10am. This is one way to help players build confidence before volleyball season starts. These open gym opportunities are essential in getting ahead with the basic fundamentals of volleyball- while helping players get in shape during our off season. If you haven’t been- we want to encourage you to join the fun! 🙌
