DEMONSTRATION.

There is a common misconception about getting an LTC, in which most average citizens think getting your LTC is a form of “Training”. To that I would say it is NOT! Not even close. The state’s requirement for firearm proficiency is a joke at minimum and there is NO requirement for instructors to teach handgun marksmanship! Most instructors don’t. That is where our class diverges from the rest. While the state doesn’t require us to “teach you how to shoot”, we feel it is our responsibility that every person that attends our course leaves a safer and better shooter. That is why we have a 50 round block of instruction, in addition to the shooting proficiency. Our next class is February 19th, come see what makes us different!

Our next LTC class is a little more than 2 weeks away and have a handful of spots available. We get asked all the time why people should get their LTC if Texas is a “permit-less carry” state now. Our biggest response is Liability Mitigation. Just because you can carry without having to confirm you knowledge of the laws, doesn’t erase the laws nor their applicability to you! Ignorance will NOT keep you out of jail. In addition to that, we cover a ton of other topics that we believe highly beneficial for the every day carrier. Why get your LTC?

Here are a few good reasons..

1. Can carry (unless effective notice is given) at 51% establishments, hospitals, amusement parks and collegiate sporting events
2. Can cary concealed on the premise of schools (few exceptions)
3. Reciprocity agreements and carrying out of state

We structure the “lecture” portion in easily digestible segments that are supported with video and case study to keep it interesting. Had a solid group of guys in our LTC course this last weekend. These guys got after it on the range and put up some pretty solid times on the “Run the circle” drill. even got beat in a drill Saturday 😳 (fast is fine, but accuracy is final). Great class and thanks for coming out guys 👊🏽

License to Carry course still has a few spots available. Constitutional Carry (CC) won’t go live until September, and you will still be required to have a handgun license to travel outside of a CC state that has reciprocity with Texas.
