Jackson County High School Softball is proud to announce that not one, but two of our student-athletes, Macy Wathen and Ella-Grace Sallee have been selected as 2026 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars!
The Governor’s Scholars Program (GSP) is one of the most prestigious academic honors available to high school students in Kentucky. Being selected as a Governor’s Scholar is a testament to the countless hours of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and commitment these young women have demonstrated both in the classroom and on the softball field. They have represented JCHS Softball with excellence and have shown what it means to be true student-athletes.
We are incredibly proud of Macy and Ella-Grace for this outstanding accomplishment and wish them the very best as they embark on this incredible opportunity. We know they will represent Jackson County High School and our softball program with pride.
