Congrats to our boys track and field team on amazing performances at last evening's IHSA 3A Sectional!

Not only did the boys team take 5th out of 17 teams, they qualified for state in 5 events:

4x100 meter relay - Jayden Linderman, James butler, Oliver Sznyterman, Jonah Miller 42.60 and 3rd place!

3200 meter run - Myles Wagner 9:34.18 and sectional champion!

800 meter run - Nate Martin 1:56.59 and 3rd place!

High Jump - Jayden Linderman 6’ 4” and sectional champion!

Triple jump - Enoch John 44’ 6” and sectional champ!

Addison Hoffman and Olivia Meyer will return to Charleston, IL this week for the IHSA 3A State Finals!

Both girls became 2x state qualifiers in their events after running qualifying times at the Belvidere North sectional last week.

Hoffman's performance set a new school record in the 100m, a time of 12.29 previously set by Kelly Huerta in the McHenry County meet in 2024.
