Meet the Expert! (Focus on Professionalism & Care)

We are so excited to welcome Farrah Schoepe to the studio!

Farrah brings a unique perspective to the mat as both a Registered Nurse and a Certified Yoga Instructor. Her restorative class is specifically designed to promote full-body relaxation through:

Gentle, slow-paced stretching
Fully supported poses (let the props do the work!)
Optional hands-on Thai-style assists (always with consent)
Breathwork to ground and renew

Leave feeling restored and relaxed.

Irritability is a big sign of poor sleep. One study limited people to 4 1/2 hours of sleep a night for a week. The result: More stressed, angry, and mentally exhausted people. OMG, FRIENDS🍿✨

Dick and I just saw the Michael Jackson biographical film and we are completely blown away! To say it is GREAT is a massive understatement—the music, the choreography, the acting... absolutely incredible. I had chills the entire time! 😭🕺🔥

If you haven’t seen it yet (or want to go rewatch it like I already do), you are in luck! It’s showing again TONIGHT at 7:00 PM and Monday night at 7:00 PM at the Twin City Opera House!

Strength gives you options.

It gives you the option to carry your own groceries.

The option to climb stairs without hesitation.

The option to travel, explore, and stay active.

The option to play with your grandchildren, work in the yard, and enjoy the life you've built.

Without strength, choices become limitations.

Simple tasks become difficult.
Confidence begins to fade.
Independence becomes harder to maintain.

Jack LaLanne believed strength was about much more than muscles.

It was about freedom.

Freedom to move.
Freedom to participate.
Freedom to live life on your own terms.

Every workout is an investment in future possibilities.

Every squat makes it easier to stand up.
Every push-up helps you push through challenges.
Every walk strengthens the foundation beneath you.

The stronger you are, the more life asks of you and the more capable you become of answering.

Don't train to look strong.

Train to stay capable.

Because strength gives you options.

Summer habits become lifelong habits.

The routines you establish today can shape the rest of your year and, ultimately, the rest of your life.

Summer gives you more daylight.
More opportunities to be outside.
More chances to move, walk, swim, bike, and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Use it.

Take a walk after dinner.
Start your morning with movement.
Drink more water.
Choose fresh foods that fuel your body.

These may seem like small choices, but repeated consistently, they become habits.

And habits become your lifestyle.

Jack LaLanne understood that lasting fitness is not built through short bursts of effort.

It is built through daily actions repeated over time.

One healthy meal becomes a pattern.
One walk becomes a routine.
One workout becomes a lifestyle.

The goal is not to be healthy for the summer.

The goal is to create habits that carry into the fall, through the winter, and for years to come.

The "Stress Buster" (Focus on Wellness)
Unwind. Slow down. Reconnect. 🌿

Life moves fast, but your yoga practice doesn’t have to. Join us for a deeply relaxing Restorative Yoga experience led by Farrah Schoepe, a registered nurse and certified yoga instructor visiting from Northeast Ohio.

This isn’t your typical workout—it’s a "work-in." We’ll be using props and Thai-inspired techniques to release tension and calm the nervous system. Whether you’re feeling tight, stressed, or just plain tired, this is your permission to hit the reset button.

Tired of the Mid-Week Slump?
Shake It Off This Thursday!

If by the time Thursday afternoon rolls around you’re feeling a little sluggish, tight in the shoulders, or just plain stressed—we have the ultimate remedy waiting for you at Village Fitness!

Our 4:30 PM Yogalates class is the perfect mid-week circuit breaker. We spend the first part of class waking up our "powerhouse" core with gentle, low-impact Pilates movements to build strength and support your posture. Then, we transition into fluid yoga stretches and a peaceful cooldown to completely melt away whatever the week has thrown at you.

You’ll leave the studio feeling an inch taller, deeply relaxed, and re-energized just in time for the weekend!
