Slow start qualifying 7th in our group which set us lining up 7th in our heat with only 4 cars making a transfer spot to the A.

Made a couple changes before the heat race that paid off. Went from 7th to 4th in our heat race to secure a spot in the feature.

Lined up 14th for the feature and the car was great off the start, managed our way up to 8th pretty early on until the car started to go away later in the race and fell back to 12th. Improving and learning every time we hit the track. Already looking forward to next weekend!

Attica Recap

Strong start to the season overall, began the night going 2nd quick in our group and due to the invert we started 3rd in our heat. Missed the setup slightly in the heat race on a very tricky dry slick track and fell to 5th just one spot outside of a transfer spot.

That put us in the B main, where we started on the pole and fell to 4th but was good enough to transfer to the feature. The crew was hard at work to make some changes to make the car better for feature time.

We started 20th in the feature and steadily worked our way forward, picking off cars one by one. Midway through the race, we made three passes in a single corner to gain more ground looking for a top ten. We ended up advancing 9 positions to finish 11th and earned hard charger for the night.
