Step 4
The front sight returning to the point of origin.
Just like step 3, inwitch you are using wrist tension to get the front sight to track straight up and straight back down, your now going to use wrist tension to make the front sight stop lined up with the rear sight.
Still no target.
NO TARGET.
There’s no use yet practicing with a target.
These steps I’ve outlined here are the total key to shooting straight, shooting fast and accurately.
It may take you several thousand rounds to see every step I’ve talked about.
Once these steps are learned they will become automatic, your subconscious thought will take over, you need to continue to shoot without a target until this time.
You now have mechanical trained your brain to follow the front sight, keep the front sight in view, and finally make it stop ready for another shot.
Some might now call this ZEN, but just like a baby learning to walk, which they can not do so without learning, you will understand the process and just like walking and stubbing your toe you will realize you screwed up and pick your feet up higher.
In my processor shooting as you take each shot you will constantly keep adjusting wrist tension to keep the front sight tracking straight. As the front sight starts to track off center you’ll automatically add the proper wrist tension same with the sights stopping after the shot you’ll automatically adjust.
This will transfer over to any other gun you pickup, and it will only take a few shots and you’ll be shooting the new gun just as well as you old one.
When you start each practice session start with no target to warm up and retune your sight tracking. Practice is useless until this can happen.
If your a competitive shooter you never get a chance to warm up before a match starts. By understanding these steps take the first few shots slow watching the sights very closely and you’ll tune in again quickly.
Hope this helps
