10/10 race recap at Oktoberfest Race Weekend with the Mid-Am Racing Series
Started the day off in practice and after the first session we felt we had a really good piece for the day so we let the car cool for qualifying.

Went out for qualifying and were able to claim 7th quick out of 24 cars.

Started p5 in the heat race and just focused on staying clean and learning how to race side by side on this new track.

Feature we started p1 on the pole and were very confident we had a good chance at a great finish. But we really struggled through the whole race battling a very loose car and after a few cautions throughout the race we were able to hold on for a p6 finish. Was pretty frustrating with the speed we had all day but we just missed the setup.

Had a great day of testing at LaCrosse Speedway for Oktoberfest Race Weekend tonight! Picked up lots of speed through the day and we are looking forward to getting after tomorrow with the Mid-Am Racing Series

3rd in points and leading rookie of the year going into our final points race at lacrosse!

The battle is heating up going into LaCrosse Speedway final race. We will crown the Champion. Who will it be Daniel Calhoun or Kenny Richards?

9/27 race recap at Grundy County Speedway with the Mid-Am Racing Series

Started the night off with practice and we were sitting 3rd out 30 cars after a mock qualifying run and the car felt great!

Qualifying went and we knew we were gonna have to put down another really solid lap to make the show off qualifying and not have to race in. And we were able to do that ending up 6th quick out of 29 cars! Definitely could have ran a better lap but was enough to get us in the show with the stacked field of cars this race brought!

Heat race started p5 and after some hard racing we were able to bring it in with a p3 finish!

Now for the feature we started p3 and we were very confident we could contend for the top spot in this race. Green flag dropped and it was hard racing from the start! Was able to hold 3rd for the first 15 laps then ended up dropping back to 4th but after a restart and some more hard racing we were able to get back into 3rd and had good pace gaining on the top 2 cars. Then a caution came out with 10 to go. And all of a sudden lost all brake pressure. So the focus went quickly to protect to keep our 3rd place position and luckily we were able to do so bringing home a hard fought 3rd place finish in the biggest race of my career!

Couldn’t have done it without all the help we have behind us this year! Cant thank all the people that keep me on the track every race enough. Mom, Dad, Adam, Derick, Taylor.
Also I want to especially thank Jeff Olson and Marqus Hoover for giving me a bad fast setup on this car after some difficulties with testing on Saturday Jeff made sure to get us back to where we always are and the results showed!
