Mazomanie's Driftless Bouldering Park Free Outdoor Bouldering Park in downtown Mazomaine! Let's make this happen! The proposed Project is a community effort and is intended to be a no-fee park.

This is the official page of the proposed Mazomanie Community Bouldering Park. Follow this page to keep up-to-date with project status. Currently the project has conceptual drawings provided by Driftless Climbing for a modern training park. The project has had preliminary discussions with the Village Park committee and Village Board regarding possible locations which include Lyon's Park a

nd the Village Promenade. The project is currently in preliminary discussions with the Wick family and Wick lumber on developing a budget and detailed blueprint. Bouldering is rock climbing, done at modest heights and doesn't require the use of rope or harness. It is similar to gymnastics in that it requires power, balance, technique, strength, and often critical thinking and imagination. The proposed park has two sides: A front side of steep climbing angles that will challenge any climber and would make a perfect training area for a school or community kid's climbing team. The Rear of the Climbing Park will consist of low-angled, shorter walls that both newer climbers and children of all ages can hone their skills on.
