A huge thank you to the Village of Maywood for inviting Flames Cheerleading to be part of the Bud Billiken Parade with our own Honorary Marshall Mayor Nathaniel George Booker

We saw an opportunity to make it bigger and better by bringing together Flames Cheer , Stunna Steppaz Elite Dance Co. , and Dancing Divas — watching our kids come together was truly special. 💙

So grateful for the opportunity to represent our community and make memories our athletes will never forget!

The 97th Annual Bud Billiken Parade is proud to honor Mayor Nathaniel George Booker as a 2026 Honorary Marshal.

As Mayor of the Village of Maywood and a respected national leader, Mayor Booker continues to champion healthy communities, economic opportunity, and a brighter future for families across Illinois.

Accompanying Mayor Booker during the parade will be Maywood's Board of Trustees, Proviso East High School Marching Band, Flames Cheerleading, Danka Basketball League, Proviso Township Bills Football & Cheer Program, Stunna Steppaz Elite Dance Co. , TakeOff Basketball, and more.

Join us on Saturday, August 8 as we celebrate his leadership along the Bud Billiken Parade route!
