EquiSkill LLC

EquiSkill LLC EquiSkill LLC is a nonprofit LLC dedicated to promoting horsemanship, education, and equitation events in the Tennessee Walking Horse breed.

EquiSkills was created in 2024 by Dr. Leslie Perry Collins. Dr. Collins recognized a need to promote equitation and the first EquiSkill Awards were presented at The PennyRoyal Show in March 2024, at the KY Horse Park in Lexington, KY. The positive response led to EquiSkill Awards for the equitation divisions at the 2024 International Championship Horse Show and TWHBEA World Versatility Show, both

held in Murfreesboro, TN. The top 5 scoring riders received award packages and were recognized in the Walking Horse Report magazine. The interest in EquiSkills continues to grow rapidly leading to its establishment as a nonprofit LLC, creation of the first EquiSkills Committee, and exciting goals for 2025. The success of this organization would not be possible without our fantastic sponsors, instructors, trainers, and riders who love the Tennessee Walking Horse!

🏆The 2026 Equiskill Challenge Cup pattern!

The Equiskill Challenge Cup is a 3 gait english equitation championship open to youth, amateur, and limited amateur riders.

Riders qualify by showing a TWH in ANY equitation class from January 1, 2026, to the start of the event.

Renowned licensed equitation judge, Gayle Lampe, will mark the cards.

Prizes 1st-10th with a $500 prize to the TWHBEA certified instructor having the most entries in the class.

This year’s class is hosted by the International Championship Show on Saturday, July 18, at Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, TN.

Equiskill will present awards to riders with the highest scoring equitation patterns at these shows:

🏆TWHBEA World Versatility Show
🏆 The International
🏆 The NWHA National

There is no fee to participate! Just ride in any equitation class and complete the pattern at these shows to earn a score 📋.
