State Director Brian Hullum will be conducting a TTA Umpire Certification Clinic, Saturday, March 14th, 9:00am – 12:00pm in Clifton, TX. $25.00 per person that includes a 2 year certification, TTA umpire card, umpire training handout, TTA rulebook. All the Fan gear was ordered tuesday and should arrive in in 4 weeks. In order to avoid shipping costs, all orders will be delivered to Maypearl Youth Association. Once received, we will arrange to get them to the buyers.

Attention coaches, parents, players, park guests:

In efforts to improve the Maypearl Sports Park @ 5720 FM 66, last year, the city installed doors on the bathrooms that seal them up and air conditioners for the bathrooms It is VERY IMPORTANT that the doors are not propped open and left open throughout the day and especially over night. Leaving them open promotes the fly problems.

It would be helpful if anyone that notices them propped open would close them so the doors seal and the bathrooms are a controlled interior space instead of an open air environment.

Hello Spring Rec Parents,
We have secured coaches for all the divisions and teams. I will be sending out the team rosters to the coaches today. If your child is in 6UBB, 8UBB, 10UBB, 12UBB, 6USB, or 8USB, you will not hear from your coach until sometime after the age divisions draft. I am trying to organize a coach's meeting next Tuesday, so before that date, the coaches will not know their practice times/days so most will wait until that meeting to start reaching out to parents. If You don't hear from your coach by March 1st, then reach out to the league through email or messenger. Email is [email protected]

Evaluations will not be on Sunday, Feb 22.
12UBB Evaluations/Draft will be Friday, FEB 20 @ 6pm
10UBB Evaluations/Draft will be Friday, FEB 20 @ 7pm (moved time)
8UBB Evaluations/Draft will be Monday, FEB 23 @ 6pm
6UBB Evaluations/Draft will be Monday, FEB 23 @ 7pm
6USB Evaluations/Draft will be Friday, FEB 27 @ 6pm

All other divisions will not require a draft because only one team was made. 8USB is drafting blind because they know most of the kids already, so all 8USB players will be on a team soon.
These are not tryouts. ATTENDANCE is encouraged so the coaches can make the teams are fair as possible. If you are unable to attend, your child will still be placed on a team. If your child has a glove, helmet and bat, please bring it.

T-ball COACH NEEDED!!!!!
We have 23 boys signed up for 6UBB this spring. We only have one coach currently. We are looking for an interested parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, community member to step up and take on these young men.
Responsibilities include:
1. SHOW UP
2. BE NICE
That's about it. The boys are learning the fundamentals of the game so it is okay for Coach to learn as they go as well. I usually run a couple hitting stations with Tee's (learning which way to run is half the battle), fielding the ball, and throwing/catching the ball. Not a lot to it, they just need someone willing to show up for them.
