📢 Mayfield Youth Baseball Announcement ⚾️

As we continue working hard to rebuild a strong, sustainable youth baseball program here in Mayfield, we want to share an important update for the upcoming season.

After reviewing our current numbers and the progress on securing a home field, we are recommending that all Mayfield players sign up for Gloversville Little League (gLL) this year.

Here’s why:
1️⃣ We do not yet have a field ready for regular league play.
2️⃣ Our registration numbers are not quite high enough to support our own league—yet.

We want to make sure every Mayfield kid still has the opportunity to play, compete, and grow this season, and GLL is the best option for that right now.

Please know: This is temporary.
We will continue exploring all possible options after this season, and we remain fully committed to bringing Mayfield Youth Baseball back home where it belongs.

This transition may take a few years, and it will require MANY dedicated volunteers—coaches, organizers, workers, and community members who believe in giving our kids a great baseball experience.

There will be camps and open gyms for all ages throughout the year. Keep your eyes open for opportunities — we will post every event and update right here on this page.

We’re opening the gym for all baseball players looking to work, have fun, and get reps in during the off-season.

We are gathering information and interest from the community to help us cultivate a program that will fit the needs of OUR families in OUR community. We need YOUR input! ⚾️💕
