Featured Product of the Week: Lustrous Leaves Bundle (170559) 🍂

I am so incredibly pleased with how today’s card turned out—especially because I didn’t really have a plan when I started! Sometimes those are the cards that surprise you the most. 😊

I started with two-toned Crumb Cake cardstock embossed with the Textured Tree Rings 3D Embossing Folder. Then I used the new Sanding Block to expose the white core of the cardstock, adding even more texture and dimension to the background.

The Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze and Pool Party leaves were all foiled with gold, and I added a few non-foiled leaves from the Nature’s Symphony Dies, cut from Peaceful Pine, for a little more variety.

Finally, I added the large Thank You sentiment from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies and backed it with that gorgeous Calypso Coral Ribbon with the metallic edge.

The combination of the sparkle from the gold foil and the metallic edge of the ribbon just makes everything about this card pop! ✨

Sometimes you just have to start creating and see where it takes you!

Featured Product of the Week: Lustrous Leaves Bundle (170559) 🍂

I veered away from traditional fall colors for today’s card—and I really love how it turned out!

Instead of the usual oranges, reds and browns, I used Pool Party, Bubble Bath and Pretty Peacock for my leaves. I embossed strips of Basic White cardstock with the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder to create the backdrop, then scattered the colorful leaves across the card to give the effect of falling leaves.

For the three larger leaves, I switched things up again and used gold foil instead of copper. I added smaller leaves in the same colors to carry the design throughout the card.

The tiny Happy Birthday foiled sentiment keeps the focus right where I want it—on those gorgeous leaves!

Who says fall cards have to use traditional fall colors? 😉

Featured Product of the Week: Lustrous Leaves Bundle (170559) 🍁

Last month’s Product of the Month was the perfect backdrop for today’s card featuring the smaller leaves from the Lustrous Leaves Bundle.

I didn’t just use the Glow of Harvest Specialty Paper for the background—I also fussy-cut a few of the adorable pumpkins right from the paper and tucked the small leaves around them in coordinating colors.

For a little extra elegance, I backed the sentiment with some of the gorgeous Calypso Coral Ribbon with its metallic edges. It’s the perfect little touch of shine!

Featured Product of the Week: Lustrous Leaves Bundle (170559) 🍂✨

One of the things I love about the new Hot Foil products is that Stampin’ Up! thought about how we can use every bit of those gorgeous foil sheets!

Enter the Reverse Hot Foil Die! It allows us to use the negative space left behind after foiling, so we aren’t wasting all that beautiful foil.

That’s exactly what I did for today’s card. After creating yesterday’s foiled leaves, I ran the negative foil pieces through the machine again using the Reverse Hot Foil Die to create these beautiful negative leaf images for the background.

I cut the background using the tried-and-true Everyday Arches Dies, then added more leaves from the Lustrous Leaves Bundle as the focal point.

I didn’t want to cover up too much of that gorgeous background, so the small Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies was the perfect finishing touch!

Featured Product of the Week: Lustrous Leaves Bundle (170559)

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸 For those of you in the U.S., I hope you’re enjoying some time off and getting to spend time with family and friends—or, at the very least, sneaking in some quality crafting time! 😊

It’s hard to believe we’re already in September. September has always had a special place in my heart because it’s my birthday month! 🎂 But it’s also the month when fall officially kicks off, and I’ll be diving into all things autumn this month - at least in my crafting.

We’re starting the month with the Lustrous Leaves Bundle, which was designed to be used with the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System.

For today’s card, I used copper foil on the leaves and then used the coordinating decorative masks to blend color onto each leaf. For the background, I used another Hot Foil set, Echoes of Detail, but instead of foiling it, I used it to create an embossed image behind the leaves. A little Crumb Cake blending adds a subtle, rustic feel to the background.

And that gold-embossed sentiment from the Phrases & Frames stamp set? It makes this card perfect for an autumn anniversary! 🍁💕

Other Products Used:
• Stampin’ Hot Foil System (170009)
• Echoes of Detail Hot Foil Dies (170048)
• Phrases & Frames (167581)

Featured Product of the Week: Mosaic Garden Suite (168579)

Today’s card uses another simple, tried-and-true layout—one that’s especially perfect when you have beautiful Designer Series Paper you want to show off!

I used the Tile Garden Dies again as mats, choosing two different patterned papers and then stamping the third square with coordinating floral images. I kept the sentiment simple, backed it with the coordinating ribbon from the suite, and added a little bling to finish things off.

For the background, I embossed the matted layer with a new embossing folder that’s part of another Suite Collection I’ll be featuring later this month. You may remember seeing a sneak peek of it a couple of weeks ago when I was sprinkling a few “sneak peaks” into my posts. It’s quickly becoming another favorite for those cards when you want a little something extra without adding a lot of work!

Featured Product of the Week: Mosaic Garden Suite (168579)

Today, I focused more on the Crisp Cantaloupe color, with just a little Old Olive thrown into the mix.

I love using this layout of alternating, angled paper layers, especially when I have beautiful Designer Series Paper with lots of patterns to choose from. It’s such an easy way to showcase several different designs without making the card feel too busy.

For the focal image, I matted a piece of cardstock with one of the Tile Garden Dies and randomly stamped the coordinating flowers in Crisp Cantaloupe and Old Olive. I added the sentiment on a punched circle and backed it with the gorgeous Crisp Cantaloupe Ribbon.

And that’s one of my favorite kinds of cards—a design that looks much more involved than it really is! 😉

Featured Product of the Week: Mosaic Garden Suite (168579)

I really wanted to use the unique stamp with the three little arches as a border stamp, but I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with it.

So, I did what we crafters often do—just started playing! 😊

I stamped two rows of the arches, interlinking them as I went, and suddenly thought, What if I put them on an angle? I added the sentiment nestled between the two rows, then finished it off with a little bouquet of the coordinating flowers on the side.

The beautiful ribbon was the perfect way to tie everything together, and the Designer Series Paper in the background makes the perfect backdrop for those coordinating stamped florals.

Sometimes the best card designs come from simply playing with your stamps until something clicks!

Featured Product of the Week: Mosaic Garden Suite (168579)

The thing that attracted me instantly to the Mosaic Garden Suite was the Tile Garden Dies. Knowing how often I reach for my Spotlight on Nature circle dies, I had a feeling these square dies would quickly become a staple in my craft room. Then I fell in love with the soft blue hues of the Designer Series Paper, followed by the pretty embellishments and ribbon. So really, what was the point of not getting the entire suite collection?

The stamp set has that wonderfully distressed, vintage-inspired look. And while there aren’t coordinating dies for the stamped images, I didn’t mind doing a little fussy cutting. (I’m one of those people who actually finds it relaxing!)

For today’s card, I didn’t use the Tile Garden Dies, but I did stick with the square theme, using squares as a background to showcase the individual flowers arranged in a visual triangle. I also brought in one of the sprigs from the Delicate Whispers Dies (currently on the Last Chance List) to complement the florals.

To give the flowers a little extra dimension and sparkle, I added a touch of Hydrangea Hue Shimmer Brush to the petals. And, of course, the Glossy Garden Dots from the suite were the perfect finishing touch!

Featured Product of the Week: Pretty Poinsettia Bundle (168147)

Of course, I had to finish off the week with a card in my favorite cool colors! 💙

I used the Textured Tree Rings 3D Embossing Folder on Night of Navy cardstock for the background. One of my favorite Christmas color combinations is silver, blue, and white—there’s just something about it that feels so elegant and timeless!

To complement the navy background, I added Silver Foil leaves and a Basic White poinsettia. A few Moody Palette Glossy Dots add the perfect finishing touch to this stunning Christmas card!

• Silver Foil Sheets (163387)
