Can’t express how proud I am of our Cowgirls and the growth, toughness, and heart they showed this weekend!
We took 17 Cowgirls to the ACU Team Camp and competed with two teams that gave everything they had. There were moments of adversity and struggle, but there were even more moments of grit, passion, and competitiveness. Watching this group continue to grow throughout the weekend was truly special.
Our varsity team finished strong by putting together three wins today to capture the White Consolation Bracket Championship!
Our JV team battled hard all weekend, finishing 2-3. The growth they showed was exciting to watch, and I’m so thankful each of them made the commitment to get better together. The future is bright!
A huge thank you to the Contrucci’s and Audra Edwards for driving our girls all weekend. We wouldn’t have been able to take everyone without your willingness to help. Thank you also to all of our parents for providing snacks, lunches, and lending a hand however it was needed. Your support means more than you know!
Finally, thank you to Chris and Chase for the countless hours you’ve invested in our athletes this summer at both the high school and junior high levels. Your passion for these kids and our program is evident every single day, and we are incredibly grateful for all you do.
It was a great weekend on the hardwood, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us this season!💜🤍🏀
