⛈️ SMOKY MOUNTAIN POSTPONED ☔️

This is not the news we were hoping to share this morning, but due to the significant amount of rain we received, todays racing program has been postponed.

The track and the Blount County area in general was hammered with rain overnight and rain is still falling as of this morning.

We will be to try and work on securing a makeup date and will share that information as soon as it becomes available. Much appreciation to Roger Sellers and the Smoky Mountain Speedway crew for doing all they could to get the race in today!

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support!

‼️SMOKY MOUNTAIN UPDATE‼️

Maryville, TN (5-29-26) Smoky Mountain Speedway officials continue preparations for Saturday night’s racing program and, at this time, fully intend to move forward with the event as scheduled.

Track crews have completed preparations, the racing surface has been sealed, and the facility is race-ready. Speedway officials are closely monitoring weather conditions and remain well aware of the current forecast.

We have remained in close communication with Roger Sellers and Smoky Mountain Speedway and both parties have agreed that a final decision regarding Saturday’s event will be made tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM.

We appreciate the patience and support of our racers, teams, sponsors, and fans as we work to make the best decision possible for everyone involved. Please continue monitoring official Topless Outlaw and Smoky Mountain Speedway channels for updates as additional information becomes available.

Smoky Mountain Speedway – Lester Weeks Memorial 40 Next For Topless Outlaw Dirt Late Model Series

Maryville, Tenn. (5-23-26) The Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Topless Outlaw Dirt Late Model Series will swing back to action May 30th at Smoky Mountain Speedway for the 5th Annual Lester Weeks Memorial paying $4,222 to win...a 40-lap main event.

The race pays tribute to long time chassis builder Lester Weeks of Friendsville, Tenn. who passed away in October of 2021. Additional contingency awards are expected to be added on behalf of Lester’s son Mike Weeks and his 22-Speed Shop business.

Local divisions in action include Sportsman Late Models, $800 to win, Street Stock, $700 to win, FWD and Crown Vic will each run for $500 to win.

The Series Format will consist of: Will Kinzer Foundation Hot Laps - Clifton Construction, LLC Time Trials / Shorty’s Shortys Motorsport Group A and Hoosier Tire South Group B - CV Racing Parts Heat Races - Virginia Driveline and Differential and Fullmoon Graphics last chance qualifiers.

Series Awards: $100 Spring Pro Smash the Clock Award for fastest in Hot Laps - $120 Fast Qualifier Award from Extreme Towing andRecovery/ Calvin Pike of LaGrange, GA - The 22-Speed Shop / Mike Weeks $100 Hard Charger Award will go to the driver advancing the most positions in the feature. 🚨 EVENT POSTPONEMENT NOTICE 🚨

Maryville, Tenn. (5-22-26) Due to saturated grounds and an unfavorable weather forecast, all events scheduled for Saturday, May 23 at Talladega Short Track have been postponed.

The Topless Outlaws Dirt Racing Series has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 25.

Also of note is our previously scheduled race at I-75 on July 25th has been canceled.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support as we work to provide the best and safest conditions possible for our racers and fans.

Our next race will be Saturday, May 30 at Smoky Mountain Speedway for the annual Lester Weeks Memorial 40 paying $4222 to win 🔥

Talladega Short Track Next For Topless Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series

Maryville, Tenn. (5-19-26) The Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Topless Outlaw Dirt Late Model Series will swing south again this weekend with another $4,000 to win event at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.

It will mark only the second time the series will have visited the track known as The Hornet’s Nest. Jeff Smith of Dalton, GA won the series first visit on August 26th, 2023.

The Series Format will consist of: Will Kinzer Foundation Hot Laps - Clifton Construction, LLC Time Trials / Shortys Motorsport Group A and Hoosier Tire South Group B - CV Racing Parts Heat Races - Virginia Driveline and Differential and Fullmoon Graphics last chance qualifiers.
