Our High School Girls Rugby team is growing, and we’re looking to add a few more players to the roster!

We have enough girls to field a team, but we’d LOVE to have some extra players ready to step in, rotate, and help us build an even stronger squad! More players = more opportunities, more competition, and more fun!

⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM

Never played rugby? THAT’S OKAY!
No experience is necessary, and there is NO COMMITMENT required to come check it out. Come to a practice, meet the team, learn the game, and see if rugby is something you’d enjoy!

We are a club sport, which means we can welcome athletes from surrounding communities and school districts. You can also play rugby while participating in other sports!

Looking for a new sport, a new challenge, and a team that feels like family? Come check out the Marysville Lady Whamsters!

Practice has already started, but it’s absolutely not too late to join! You don’t need experience, and you don’t have to commit just because you come to practice. Come try it out, learn the game, meet the team, and see what rugby is all about.

Practice is FREE, and we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
If you’re in high school and looking for something different, this is your sign to come give rugby a shot.

Due to the amount of rain we’ve received, the fields are completely soaked. UCJRD is unable to mow and has asked us to not use the fields because of the standing water and risk of damaging them. Also, the unpleasant smell appears to be coming from manure runoff from the surrounding farm fields. We are moving practice to Eljer Park from 6p-8p and using the blacktop (parking lot / basketball court). Please plan accordingly and bring appropriate shoes (running shoes / tennis shoes).

Due to the current thunderstorm watch through 8:00 PM and the condition of the field, we have decided to cancel practice this evening.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and want to prioritize everyone’s safety. We’ll see everyone back at practice Wednesday!
