Frequently Asked Questions:
I have been getting a lot of questions regarding Coal Rush Volleyball and I thought I’d just take a few moments to answer some of those questions!

What is Coal Rush?
Coal Rush is a volleyball club that offers both rec level and competitive instruction. We focus breaking down the game so players can better understand more than just pass. I believe if they know why they are passing the way they are helps build knowledge and confidence in players.

When is the season/practices?
The plan is to run the 2026/2027 season from November-April ( practice team) in regards to tournament teams, that will depend how many tournaments we enter.
My goal is practice twice a week with practice being an hour.

How much is a season?
The practice team is $500.00. I totally understand that $500.00 can seem like a lot right off the bat, but don’t let that prevent you from signing up. I am flexible with payments within reason. Just email me directly at the time of sign ups.

Who can join?
Coal Rush is open to any skill level ages 7-17.

Can boys join?
Boys are welcome to join. There isn’t many options for young boys in the area for volleyball.
Boys under 12 are welcome to join the practice team as at this age they don’t have any major physical differences than females. However any male over the age of 12 there would have to be enough interest to form an all males team.
However
Boys of any age are welcome to sign up for 1:1 sessions.

Where is Coal Rush located?
Practices will be held at the Arden United Methodist Church

If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!🗞️
Coal Rush will be offering a boys practice team this season!
This will be much like the girls practice teams and give boys in the area a way to be apart of the volleyball community as well!

Sign ups are still open for Coal Rush Practice Teams!
This is for ages 6-17 and all skill levels! This is a rec level, but with more detail to the fundamentals players need to grow as players. We break down what most girls learn in rec. These teams also allow more 1:1 instruction. It is perfect for girls who are just learning how to play or want to build skills they already have.
For questions feel free to message me directly!
Can’t wait to see everyone on the court.
