The Maya Davis Excellence Award honors the standard set by Maya Davis, whose commitment, leadership, and relentless work ethic elevated every environment she stepped into. When we were starting Boom! Academy, Maya embodied the all-around excellence we sought from our players, consistently modeling what it meant to pursue high achievement both on and off the field. She played an instrumental role in helping launch Boom! by lending her credibility, leadership, and belief in the program’s vision, setting a foundation that continues to shape the Boom! Academy. We will honor that legacy by awarding the honor in her name to the athlete best living up to that standard.
