Coach Gilbertson here.

I hope that all of you are having a wonderful summer. Bobcat Track & Field had a great season in 2026, having many successes in competition and graduating a huge senior class. We started the year short one coach and said Happy Retirement to Coach Lawler at our banquet. This summer, Coach Stonner and Coach Fogarty informed me that they would not be able to coach next year. That means we need coaches......why not you?

I am looking for coaches for Marshalltown High School this upcoming season. All assistant positions are currently open (sprints, hurdles, distance, jumps, and throws). If you love the sport, have some track experience, and want to help shape a great program together for our student-athletes, send me a message!

10:00 AM - Distance Medley Relay: Declan Greene, Zak Wilder, Aiden Smitherman, Preston Johnson
12:30 PM - 400 Hurdles: Aiden Smitherman

Saturday
3:10 PM - 1600 M: Preston Johnson
