Dear Fans and Community Partners,

For the past few months, the Cenla Gold Culture has been a staple of Rapides Parish baseball. We take immense pride in the history we have built together—all the community events, and the generations of families who have cheered in our stands.
We understand that change can be difficult, and the previous name holds fond memories for many. However, a name should unite, not divide. This change is not about disregarding our history, but about evolving. We are committed to fostering an atmosphere that respects the longevity of our team and our fans.
With all being said we are thrilled to become the CENLA DINGERS for the remaining of this season! This represents a fresh start that is forward-looking, energetic, respectful, speed, strength, and community.
We are excited to begin this new era with you and our team.
In addition, the picture that is provided below, has been approved and ok’d to post by our wonderful players parents. We will no longer elaborate on the situation, but only hope this will clear up any confusion or misunderstanding that was caused over the weekend.
