I hope the school year is going well, we are about to be heading into the month of September which means our no contact period will be over. We will be starting Wednesday September 2nd with lifting and then open field.Thursdays I will also be giving middle schoolers the chance to come for an open field. Each month a calendar will be sent out so everyone knows the schedule for the month. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me!

Your 2026 MOAC conference champions and central district champions was recognized last night at the football game. It was good to see this group together again as the great memories this team made together. This group made an impact and a standard that the teams of the future will know and will carry on the standard set go Vikings!

Congratulations to the girls soccer team on a big opening game win. Two of our own did their thing last night . Freshman Kya Moran scored a goal and junior Chloe Addis scored a goal!

The current leaders of the MOAC !

The Vikings won the final Futbol Friday Night, beating cross town conference rival Harding 5-1.

A freshman, sophomore, junior, and a senior scored for the Vikings.

Scoring started early with a goal from Chloe Addis 13 minutes in.

Sarina Strother and Kya Moran added first half goals with RV going into the half up 3-0.

Cassidy Elliott started off the 2nd half with a goal 6 minutes in. Strother added another rocket goal from 25 yards out.

Strother, Avery Street, and Rylee McGowan had assists. (Maybe more, checking tape).

Havyn Rodgers had 3 saves in goal.

The backline of Victoria Shotwell, Alexa Schertzer, and Rylee McGowan were destructive all night. Limiting the President's attack.

Cora Barnes, Val Riegel, Addis, Abigail Long, and Peyton Riley dominated the middle of the field.

The bench was alive last night. You could feel their energy on the field and it made them a factor!

Great way to end a fun tradition.

The 2026 RV Softball camp is going to be held September 27th the camp will be split up into two different times that will be made up by the grades on the flyer. Come learn fundamentals and other fun things from the RV girls and RV coaches. there is a google form that will need to be filled out to help the coaching staff split the girls up by their grades each girl that signs up will get a River Valley softball camp shirt. The other link is the zeffy link to pay for the camp. We hope to see you come out and have some fun with the River Valley softball program!
