1 Year Ago Today (March 30, 2022) I did something I never thought I would. I quit my almost 6 figure paying job of 10 years. It was the scariest BUT best decision of my life!

I was over worked, burnt out, mentally exhausted. Constant extra work load and no relief as promised for years, working almost 7 days a week and from home on the weekends I didn’t even know what free time looked like at a point. I cried multiple times, I was so on edge and really just unhappy. I stayed because job security and financial stability but it was NOT where my heart was. I would work 8+ hour days and still work part-time at Burn Marietta because even after all those hours unhappy Burn was my HAPPY place. 🫶🏼

After MUCH thought I said F-THIS, I deserve mental happiness in my job and know my worth. Put in my resignation and never turned back! I could go on and on about details of my final 4 weeks of HELL, but I left that negative in the PAST! 😎

The stars aligned and a few days later from quitting on April 4, 2022 I started full-time at as Operations Manager.

I couldn’t be happier at my decision and Burn is my ultimate happy place!

has literally changed my life …. Im a 10+ year Eating Disorder Recovery Warrior who found my tribe in Burn, started as part-time BA, got my CPT and quit my day job and became Operations Manager!

Burn is a place with ZERO judgement that allows me to live in my intuitive eating to fuel my body and never judges “how I look” but how I feel and how strong I can be mentally and physically, the community, the Burn Marietta members are the BEST, my Burn sisters and bros across Burn Nation, some of my best friends were strangers I met at Burn, the littles in CW I’m a bit of a baby whisperer now lol, all the support and high fives, my personal transformation inside & out, seeing others personal transformations, hearing members non scale victories, helping build a team I couldn’t be more thankful for, an amazing FP who trusts & believes in me, a brand I can 110% bleed blue and believe in whole heartedly, a closet full of Burn gear and so much more. 💙

It’s National Easting Disorder Awareness Week & as a I want to share the reality of it all 💙💚

Just a reminder Eating Disorders are so much more than what people may think they are. It’s a struggle, it’s tough to deal with, some days are better than others & you deal with it for life even in recovery!

Be supportive, listen & patience is important 💚💙
