We are incredibly proud of our Marianna High School Golf Team for maintaining a 3.5 average GPA!

Our student-athletes understand that being a Bulldog means more than competing on the golf course. It means working hard in the classroom, holding yourself to a high standard, holding your teammates to that same standard, and continually representing our school with pride.

The goal is simple: pursue excellence in the classroom, on the course, and in everything we do.

Congratulations to everyone who made the team! We are looking forward to a great season. Go Bulldogs!

Congratulations to our 2026 Marianna Bulldogs Golf Team Captains!

Please join us in congratulating our leaders for this season:

Boys Golf Captain: Rathan Barnes
Girls Golf Captain: Emma Leavins

These student-athletes have earned the respect of their teammates through their work ethic, leadership, sportsmanship, and commitment to our program.

Every great program passes the torch to the next generation. These captains have big shoes to fill, and we can't wait to watch them leave their own mark on Marianna Golf.

We are excited to see them lead our Bulldogs into the 2026 season!

Marianna High School Golf Team tryouts are July 29th & 30th at 3:30 p.m. at Indian Springs Golf Club. Any Jackson County student in grades 9–12 is eligible to try out.

Before tryouts, Athletic Clearance must be completed and approved before you can participate.

Please bring your golf clubs, a hat, a water bottle, and sunscreen. All players trying out must wear a collared polo shirt.

Yesterday, Creed Whitworth officially signed to play college golf with Coastal Alabama. His teammates and coaches were proud to stand beside him, each sharing heartfelt words about his character and leadership. For the past two years, Creed has been the steady leader of our golf team, guiding by example on and off the course. He is a two-time district champion (2024, 2025), a third-place finisher in the 1A Public School State Championship (2025), and he closed out his senior season with three consecutive rounds in the 70s.

As he heads into this next chapter, we’re excited to see everything he will achieve. Creed has left a legacy that will continue to shape our program for years to come. Congratulations, Creed, and thank you for pouring your heart into the Marianna Golf program!
