Parents of new and returning wrestlers, the season approaches quickly! Please make sure to get you USA Wrestling membership renewed, or created for new families!

As the 2026–2027 wrestling season approaches, all wrestlers competing in Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF) events must have a current USA Wrestling athlete membership and be properly affiliated with their IKWF club.

Parents should complete the following steps:

1. Create a USA Wrestling Account
Create an account through the USA Wrestling membership system:

2. Create or Claim Your Wrestler’s Profile
Create a profile for a new wrestler or claim the existing profile of a returning wrestler.

3. Add or Edit Club Affiliation
Make sure your wrestler is affiliated with the correct IKWF club before purchasing the membership.

Important: Once the USA Wrestling membership has been purchased, only IKWF office staff can add or edit a wrestler’s club affiliation. If your child is changing clubs this season, be sure to remove the previous club affiliation before purchasing the membership.

4. Purchase the USA Wrestling Athlete Membership
Complete the purchase of your wrestler’s USA Wrestling athlete membership.

5. Submit Age Verification, If Required
All wrestlers competing in IKWF events must be age verified by the IKWF office. Acceptable documentation includes a birth certificate, passport, or other legal document showing the wrestler’s name and date of birth.

Age verification documents may be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to (708) 206-0335.

Please be sure to include the name of the IKWF club your child is joining when submitting age verification so the IKWF office can verify that your wrestler is affiliated with the correct club.

Completing these steps early will help ensure your wrestler is properly registered and eligible to compete when the season begins.

Marengo Youth Wrestling Club Registration is now live for the upcoming 2026-2027 season!
Open to all boys and girls in Kindergarten through 8th Grade!

Sign ups this year will take place through our website https://www.marengoyouthwrestlingil.com/registration

There is also a payment plan available through the website for those interested. Final payments due by October 30th. The season starts the first week of November!

Congratulations to the Herzog sisters on their performances at Freestyle & Greco State!

Sophia finished the day as the State Champion in both Freestyle and Greco in the 14u 105lb brackets! Last weekend she also competed in Freestyle, finishing 8th at USA Women’s Nationals in Spokane, Washington!

Her sister Audrey wrestled in the 12u 126lb brackets today and ultimately finished 2nd in freestyle and 1st in Greco! Last weekend, Audrey finished 4th at USA Women’s Nationals.

Congrats to these two on their hard work paying off!
