📚ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SPOTLIGHT📚

We’re kicking off a new school year of celebrating our Marana Thunder athletes for all the amazing things they accomplish beyond the field and the sidelines! ❤️💙

And what better way to start than by congratulating Mia Parra on being recognized as Student of the Month! 🎉👏

Mia, we are so proud of you for demonstrating the hard work, character, and dedication it takes to stand out in the classroom. Keep shining and setting a great example! ⭐

Throughout the school year, we can’t wait to recognize more of our Thunder athletes for their academic achievements, awards, and special accomplishments at school.

Because we’re building more than athletes. ❤️⚡💙

Our hearts are heavy as we once again find ourselves grieving alongside our Marana community. 💔

Marana Thunder extends our deepest condolences and prayers to the family and loved ones of the Marana High School student whose life was tragically lost this week. We also hold close the students, teachers, staff, friends, classmates, and everyone at Marana High School who is walking through this incredibly difficult time.

As an organization centered around young people, a loss like this touches us deeply. Every week, we have the privilege of coaching, encouraging, mentoring, and cheering on children throughout our community. We watch them grow, struggle, succeed, laugh, form friendships, and become part of our Thunder family.

And more than anything, we want every young person to know this:

You matter. You are valued. You are loved. And you never have to carry something difficult alone. ❤️

To our Thunder athletes, and to every young person in our community: there are parents, coaches, teachers, counselors, family members, and so many others who want to listen, support you, and stand beside you.

May we continue to look out for one another, lead with kindness, check in on our kids, and remind them often just how precious they are.

We pray that God wraps His arms around this student's family and brings them strength and comfort in the days ahead. We pray for healing and peace throughout Marana High School and our entire community.

Today, our Thunder family stands with our Marana High School family. Tigers, we stand beside you. 💙💛❤️🙏

God bless this student, their loved ones, and our Marana community.
