God even gives us guidance on how to properly guide those that look up to us! In this same way, we lead our horses. Not in a way that makes you feel like you have all the power, but in an honest, humble, firm and caring way, just as God leads us.

This Wednesday is class #3 for our Trailblazers Enrichment Program with Northern Star! ♥️

It has been so cool to watch these little ones come out of their shell and build confidence with our very sweet and gentle horse, Nash.

Some kids start out barely wanting to enter the arena, to riding confidently so quickly. Equine assisted programs are proven and effective ✅

Horses & nervous system regulation-

Problem solving- Banjo stood his ground and wasn’t following Ryder when he pulled at the end of the rope. Ryder got mad and stomped his foot and yelled, then realized that didn’t make Banjo move. So he gathered himself, walked up closer to banjo and grabbed the lead rope to get him to go.

What a great lesson in self control, emotional control and problem solving
