BREAKING BARS HALL OF FAME 🔥

Founding Class – 2026

Kell Culclasure

Kell is my longest tenured personal training client—over 7 years, never missing, always showing up.

She’s been my 6 AM client from the beginning. Day in and day out, she’s been a standard of consistency, discipline, and effort.

Outside of the gym, Kell has competed in over 100 tennis tournaments and continues to compete for state championships every year in both singles and doubles. In recent years, she’s taken that same competitive edge into pickleball—placing 1st or 2nd in most tournaments she’s entered over the past three years.

Inside Breaking Bars, she’s a quiet leader. She doesn’t need attention—her work speaks for itself. She’s one of the most respected and competitive athletes to ever come through these doors.

Her discipline with her training and nutrition has her looking, feeling, and performing at a high level at 56 years old.

She loves to train—overhead press, bench, deadlift, squat—and she attacks it with purpose every time she walks in.

But more than all of that…

Kell isn’t just a great athlete. She’s been a loyal friend, someone I respect deeply, and someone I consider a mentor in my own life.

She’s one of my best friends.

That’s what makes her part of the foundation of Breaking Bars.

This Week at Breaking Bars

Wes Gleason continues to get stronger at 74 years young.
27 months in — still showing up, still getting better.
And behind the scenes, he’s the man keeping our machines running. Respect.

We officially welcomed Amy Carroll to the
Breaking Bars Hall of Fame — her picture now on the wall where it belongs.

Jim Eaddy made some serious strides this week —
taking his training to another level.

And Josh Powell continues to bring energy and motivation to the evening crew.
That dude sets the tone.

Proud of this group.

New week ahead… let’s get to work.

At Calvary, in His final moments, Jesus Christ bore the weight of the world, choosing love over pain, forgiveness over vengeance. His example.

“Father, forgive them…”
“It is finished.”

With His last breath, He didn’t lose… He fulfilled the mission. The cross wasn’t the end, it was the beginning. For every person that carries a burden on their heart, please consider the burdens that Jesus carried and remember his personal sacrifice.

The stone rolled away. The grave couldn’t hold Him. Death was defeated.

He is risen.

“If you’re over 50 and not squatting… you’re aging faster than you should.”

Barbell back squats = strength, muscle, and longevity.
Not optional. Necessary.

Control the weight.
Hit depth.
Stay powerful.

We don’t fade—we build.

This Week at Breaking Bars

Another solid week of growth, consistency, and momentum across the board.

Our kids fitness classes continue to build energy and confidence — showing up, working hard, and having fun doing it. The future is being built right in front of us.

A special shoutout to Lola Bradshaw, who just completed her first full month of training. At 76 years young, she’s proving that it’s never too late to get stronger and feel better. And the best part? She loves it.

Cory and Aimee McWhite set the tone this week with their consistency and commitment. Day in and day out, they show up and put in the work — exactly what Breaking Bars is all about.

On a personal note — I’ve officially hit my lowest body weight in several years as I transition from powerlifting into a more lean, athletic build. Excited for what’s ahead and to lead from the front.

We’re building something special here.

Keep showing up. Keep breaking barriers.
