🏁 MOSS RACING | 33M RACE RECAP

A solid start to the night at Port City Raceway for JT. After drawing the 84 pill, he went 6th → 3rd in the heat, earning a 5th-place starting spot in the A Feature.

The feature didn’t quite go our way. JT got caught up in a couple cautions throughout the race and ultimately brought it home 13th.

Even with the rough feature, it was a productive night in the championship battle. JT jumped three spots in the Non-Wing standings, moving from 9th → 6th!

🏁 MOSS RACING | 51M RACE RECAP

Overall, a pretty solid night at Port City Raceway.

We drew the 30 pill and started 4th in the heat. Some injection issues had us fighting the car and we slipped back to 7th, putting us 14th in the A Feature.

We got the injection issues sorted out before the feature and finally had the car underneath us. From there, we were able to make a decent charge through the field, going 14th → 8th and bringing home another top-10 finish.

The night also moved us up another spot in the Port City Raceway A-Class points standings, now sitting 6th.

Well, we finally got around to tearing down the old mystery stock Yamaha this morning!

We put somewhere around 30–40 nights on this thing without really knowing anything about it before us, it finally developed a knock and got pulled out of the car.

Turns out the #1 rod bearing was knocking on the door. 😂

Definitely not what we wanted to find, but it’s nothing we can’t fix. New crank, new rods, fresh bearings, and we’ll get it put back together and ready to serve as the backup motor again.

For a mystery motor that gave us 30–40 nights when we first started racing, I’d say it doesn’t owe us a dime. 🔧🏁

Back at Port City Raceway tonight with both cars ready to go.

We’ve been making progress, learning more every weekend, and continuing to get these cars where we want them. Tonight is another chance to put it all together.

Locked the A class car into the A tonight! Starting P9.

Non wing Bs rolling out right now. Will update if JT makes the transfer. UPDATE: Battery took a crap in staging lanes for his B feature, didn’t make it on the track.
