Prayer for our youth!
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up our youth to You. We thank You for every life, every purpose, and every destiny You have placed inside of them. Your Word tells us that You knew them before they were formed, and today we stand on that truth.
Lord, we ask for divine protection over our youth. Cover their minds, bodies, and spirits. Guard them as they go to school, practice, work, and come back home. We pray against accidents, violence, bullying, school shootings, killings, sickness, and anything meant to harm, attack, distract, or destroy them. No weapon formed against them shall prosper.
God, be their guide. When they feel unsure, overwhelmed, or pressured, lead them in the right direction. Help them to hear Your voice clearly and to trust You even when it’s hard. Give them wisdom beyond their years and discernment to recognize what is not from You.
We lift up our youth academically. Strengthen their focus, memory, and confidence. Remove anxiety, self-doubt, and the belief that they are “not enough.” Help them to understand their work, advocate for themselves, and walk boldly in their gifts and abilities.
Lord, we pray for our athletes. Protect their bodies from injury and exhaustion. Teach them discipline, teamwork, humility, and perseverance. Remind them that their identity is not in a title, position, or performance, but in You.
Father, surround our youth with the right friendships. Remove relationships that pull them away from purpose and plant them among people who encourage growth, accountability, and peace. Give them the courage to walk away from unhealthy connections and the strength to stand alone if needed.
We pray against peer pressure in every form. Give them boldness to say no to drugs, alcohol, violence, unhealthy relationships, and anything that contradicts who You’ve called them to be. Let them know they don’t have to fit in to belong.
God, we come against bullying, both seen and unseen. Heal the hearts of those who have been hurt and soften the hearts of those who hurt others. Replace cruelty with compassion, fear with confidence, and silence with strength.
We declare that our youth will live, thrive, and fulfill their God-given purpose. They are protected. They are guided. They are loved. They are chosen.
