A New Chapter for Reel Kinetic
When I started Reel Kinetic Media, the word Media reflected a broad creative vision. It gave me the freedom to explore photography, video, documentaries, sports, and storytelling.
Over the past several years, something became increasingly clear.
The work changed.
I spent more than two decades choreographing action as a stunt coordinator and second unit director. Every fight, every fall, every movement had to tell a story without words. Today, I’m using those same instincts behind the camera.
Whether I’m filming mixed martial arts, cycling, football, judo, or lacrosse, I find myself asking the same questions:
What’s the story?
What’s the emotion?
What does this moment feel like from the inside?
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t simply documenting events anymore.
I was making films.
Not feature films in the traditional sense, but cinematic stories drawn from real moments—films that explore the emotion, discipline, and humanity found in sport.
That shift didn’t happen overnight.
It happened one project at a time.
From every event I filmed…
To every edit…
To every Field Note I wrote…
The philosophy evolved first.
The work changed first. The name is simply catching up.
Because of that, it feels like the right time for our name to reflect the work we’re creating.
Reel Kinetic Media is becoming Reel Kinetic Films.
This isn’t a reinvention.
It’s not leaving something behind.
It’s an evolution.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing a new visual identity inspired by movement, craftsmanship, and the artists and philosophies that have shaped the way I see the world.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
The next chapter is just beginning.
Because every movement tells a story.
