MANDEVILLE'S ELLA MATTHEWS NAMED NORTHSHORE GIRLS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ella Matthews, of Mandeville, has been named the Northshore Girls Athlete of the Week, following a fan vote. The sophomore left fielder went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, four runs scored and three RBIs during a 24-2 win over Alexandria on March 21.

I could not be more proud of our Mandeville Skipper Softball TEAM!
We have faced LOTS of adversity and people trying to divide us. But tonight’s WIN over Ponchatoula proves that we are a TEAM that is Trusting the Process, BELIEVING in themselves, and most importantly, BELIEVING in their TEAMMATES.

The last 2 weeks have been what I knew this team could be since day 1. Our schedule has been a grind, but it has definitely prepared us for the last third of the season.
