Congratulations to our fall student-athletes of the week for August 31st:

🟠⚫️ Brielle Nalder ⚫️🟠
This week was Brielle’s first HS 5k. She finished 2nd overall and 1st for the Malad girls team. She ran a smart race staying a bit conservative in the first mile, but keeping the leaders in sight and then giving it her all at the finish. She’s been an awesome addition to the team. She’s has a great attitude, is positive with her teammates, and has been working very hard at practice.

🟠⚫️ Joseph Angell ⚫️🟠
Joseph had a great 1st meet this season! He finished 7th overall and 3rd for the Malad boys. He ran very well with the pack and pushed his teammates throughout the race. He also improved his time on this course from last season. Joe always makes sure practice isn’t boring! He has a fun personality and leaves us giggling and/or shaking our heads most days :) He doesn’t, however, let that get in the way of putting in the work!
